Grove Medical was founded to develop
R. Beau Thompson’s innovative idea
(now patented) for a better and easier-to-apply condom. The genesis of Beau’s remarkable invention began one warm, frustrating evening when romance went astray as he struggled to apply a
conventional condom and the moment
was lost. Swearing, “never again," Beau began the quest for a better way.
After refining Sensis’ design on paper, Beau retreated to his shop and with the help of an old dot matrix printer, a pole spear and some spare car parts… the first prototype for our current “third generation” machine was born. The path from that primitive device to today’s high-efficiency manufacturing plant and finished product launch spanned more than a few years – requiring deep reserves of both patience and perseverance. |
